The ruling elders are male and female members who have been elected by the congregation and have demonstrated a mature faith that is recognized by others. The Session meets regularly with the minister and has oversight of the spiritual life of the members and adherents of the church.
The current Clerk of Session is George Robertson.
This group meets the third Tuesday of every month. Each member has been elected by the congregation for a 3 year term. They are responsible for the financial and physical needs of the church building.

Gordon Presbyterian Church offers a full array of Christian Education activities—Bible Studies for adults, Vacation Bible School, and other special events, both as a congregation and in collaboration with other congregations or the larger church. All of these activities are overseen by the CE Team on behalf of our Session. This team reviews CE programs, opportunities to optimize or expand CE programming, and address issues that may arise.
Multi-week buble studies are arranged through the Minister. Check with the bulletin board or with the church office for the current Bible study dates and topics.
Members of the congregation may decide to have home bible studies and these can be arranged with the minister directly.

They are mainly a social service group whose function is to serve others in various fundraisers, receptions and meetings. The money raised pay for a variety of improvements or purchases for the church. They provide refreshments and serving for memorial services and meetings.
Welcome to Girls Night Out! We are women from Gordon Church and friends and family. We are all ages and different backgrounds. Our reasons are: to engage in a variety of activities both at the church and in our neighbourhoods, to share
our joy and challenges of life and learn and grow as women, to hold one another up in prayer and especially
to laugh ! Please come and join us, usually the last Monday of each month at 7:00pm. If you need a ride, just let us know.
We have a number of people in the congregation who take turns welcoming worshippers to our church service as they enter the building.
