Session is happy to tell you ......we have a prayer team! Fifteen people said "yes" on the Worship Questionnaire to being a prayer team member.
Cathy Gaddes is our contact person, if you have a prayer request you can reach her at: cathy.gaddes [at] shaw.ca
When Cathy receives your prayer request, she will send it out to the whole team.
The pastors, and Pat D-W as I.M. at Knox, are on the list, so they will be aware of requests.
All requests will be held in confidence by the team and will not be included in any congregational prayers, unless specifically requested by the person asking for prayers.
If you have ever considered joining our church choir, now is the time! With our new music director in place, choir will once again become a regular part of our worship service, and we can always use more voices. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30. Please talk to our new music director, Melanie: mjaclerk[at]gmail.com
We would like all who wish to worship with us, to be able to attend in person, if they wish. We have had thirteen (13) people indicate that they would like to attend church, but are unable to get to all three locations. A ride would facilitate them attending. We have had two (2) volunteers, agree to pick up folks. To accommodate more of those who want to attend, we require some more drivers. Volunteers would only have to make a pick-up when folks are unable to walk to the worship location.
If you would like to join the Emmaus Group please talk to Sandy, Barb or Ian. We would love to have your input. If you would like to donate to the Emmaus Group outreach programs, you can do so through your envelopes – “Other” – “Emmaus”. Thank you for your prayers and support in reaching out to our neighbours.
